Ciao a tutti! Todays wedding is a chic and sweet affair, starring a gorgeous Irish couple living in Singapore. Dane and Sarah-Jane are such an international pair that they opted to say their “I do’s” in Florence! Staying at the luxurious Villa Cora, everyone prepared for the ceremony in the hotels homey rooms, getting their hair and makeup done up to perfection and bouquets of white english roses delivered just in time for the ceremony.
They chose the opulent Church of San Filippo Neri in Piazza San Firenze, in the historical center of the city, on a beautiful July day. The aisle was lined with candles, creating an intimate, spiritual mood, while clouds of white baby’s breath framed the altar. After the romantic ceremony, everyone headed to the breathtaking Castello di Vincigliata, which overlooks the city. Guests were welcomed with a rich cocktail hour of appetizers and prosecco. A photo booth corner was also set up with fun props for some friendly, fun pictures to mark the occasion.
Guests were then invited to the dinner area to away the grand entrance of the bride and groom. Tables were set with rings of baby’s breath and candles, illuminating everyone’s content smiles all evening. A rich dinner of delicious Tuscan specialities and fantastic local wine was enjoyed by all, followed by the famous millefoglie wedding cake prepared live. Dane and Sarah-Jane then cut the cake, toasting their guests for participating in their special day, as well as toasts of best wishes for them by their loved ones. The dance floor opened with their first twirl as Mr. and Mrs. and continued deep into the night!
