Good morning, darlings and welcome back to our wonderful world of weddings! Today we have a super chic, international affair bound to tickle your fancy. The elegant Danish bride, Christina, has lived for years in Italy, where she met her dashing Italian groom and love of her life, Giulio! What better place is there to fall in love?
Christina and Giulio decided to consecrate their love in the stunning San Gimignano Cathedral in Tuscany, where friends and family from all over the world gathered to witness and celebrate their union. Afterwards, they traveled to the gorgeous Tenuta La Meliana in Gambassi Terme, property of the groom, where a delicious glass of prosecco was waiting for them around the pool.
Appetizers passed by waiters and a bar filled with every type of cocktail imaginable satiated every guest. Then, all of a sudden, the bride and groom made their grand entrance – from a helicopter! It was a seriously fabulous and romantic moment. They truly looked like Prince Charming and his beautiful blonde princess in her white gown descending upon the crowd.
Following cocktail hour, a surprise flash mob of synchronized swimmers that were hidden among guests jumped into the pool! They performed 3 choreographed water shows to everyones delight – it really kept the fun going. Everyone was then invited to take their seats under a crystal tent that was so clear they could admire the stars in the sky above. Tables were decorated with lush white flowers and tall silver candleholders, creating a soft and chic ambiance.
After the gourmet dinner was consumed, the classic Italian millefoglie wedding cake was prepared in front of guests by the pastry chef to the tunes of a fantastic live band. The couple danced for the first time as husband and wife and then opened the floor for everyone to dance the night away!
We hope you enjoyed this wedding and we would love to see your comments below! Have a great weekend!
