Ciao! It’s already that time of year – wedding season is about to begin and we are ready for it! We can’t wait to actually see the fabulous weddings we have been planning for months come together so we can show them to you right here! Today’s wedding features a young and stylish couple from New York who flew to beautiful Firenze with their closest family and friends to celebrate their “I do’s”.
Leah and Neil chose the stunning baroque Church of San Filippo Neri located in the heart of the city center. The groom and groomsmen arrived dapper and handsome in blue suits and the bridesmaids were glamorous in navy sheaths and bright green orchids. Leigh was radiant in a gorgeous lace gown with cathedral length veil and the aisle was lined with candles, providing a warm ambience. Vows were exchanged and tears of joy were shed.
After the ceremony, they headed to one of the best restaurants in town, il Santo Bevitore for an elegant, gourmet dinner inspired by traditional Tuscan cuisine. The entire restaurant was theirs for the occasion and the classic wood tables were decorated with simple, yet chic gold candelabras, green orchids and gold votives. Everyone enjoyed the romantic atmosphere between delicious courses and touching toasts.
The moment then arrived for the enormous millefoglie cake covered in orchids. The bride and groom made the first cut to the sounds of U2 and a bottle of bubbly was popped for their first toast as husband and wife, as guests showered them with wishes of joy and everlasting love!
