Real Wedding: Magical Tuscan Wedding in Chianti
Buongiorno sposi belli! We have begun wedding season with a bang, always busy running around creating fabulous weddings in Tuscany! Todays real wedding is a lovely embodiment of the love of two beautiful people. Amanda and Darryll chose to get married in a stunning villa in the Chianti hills near Siena.
The bride wore a drop-dead gorgeous gown of lace and sparkly beading, with her hair gathered in a soft, braided chignon punctuated by a vaporous veil. Her bouquet was an elegant mix of pastel roses, hydrangeas and gypsophila. Her flower girls were perfect in fluffy pink dresses and glittery shoes. The groom was also dapper in a grey suit with pink tie, while the page boys and father of the bride were perfectly matching. The moving wedding ceremony was performed in the villa’s gorgeous Italian garden, underneath a lush arch of flowers and natural foliage. The color palette was a perfect complement to the warm tones of the Tuscan environment.
Afterwards, guests moved towards the cocktail buffet where a rich buffet of the best local delicacies were spread out like a royal feast! Prosecco was poured and everyone mingled in the magical Tuscan wedding atmosphere. Dinner was served on a long imperial table with the fabulous facade of the villa as a backdrop. The table was decorated with glass cylinders of gypsophila and candles, creating a romantic mood after sundown. The day before, the bride lovingly prepared pretty pink place cards in the shape of laser cut butterflies that perched on each glass, as well as pink butterfly favor-boxes.
Once the speeches were made, the traditional Italian millefoglie wedding cake was prepared live by the master pastry chef, with layers upon layers of pastry and cream. After the cutting of the cake, the party began with music and dancing until late into the night! It was truly a lovely wedding for an even lovelier couple!
